Post Re: Turnarcade Cabinet
Hi GreenTango,

Wow can you believe i still havent put my Cabinet together! I've been waiting on some custom artwork for months. The first guy seemed to have dissapeared off the face of the earth. So that was 3 months of waiting wasted! But i have someone else doing it for me now, so i can finally get to work on the Cab.

One question i have is, in the Assembly instructions craig gives us with the Cabinet, Where it says you will need the following things.

Drill + Countersink bit.

But it doesnt say what size the countersink/drill bit should be.....i'm pretty useless with woodwork, so i wouldnt know!

which size did you use?

I didn't use a countersink myself, i just drilled a pilot hole then used a drill bit slightly larger than the size of the screw just had to be careful not to drill too far into the wood.

Other than this there shouldn't be a problem, wood filler should concile the holes you created easy enough afterwards :).

Nice idea getting some custon art work for your cabinet, where have you gone to get this?, wanted to get a viynal (sp?) sticker on both sides of my cabinet but i couldn't find anywhere that did them.

I have someone from the Build your own Arcade forum doing the Artwork.

If you have a look around, theres a few people who do it freelance on there.

If your looking for something generic, theres plenty of places that do different types of artwork.

mamemarquees is by far the best for this. Great quality prints aswell!

No. i've had massive delays in the process. Originally i was living in a big house with a spare room to do the build, until my girlfriends sister moved into the spare room, so i wasnt able to get anything done.

we recently moved out into our own place, so i'm in the process of the build now. The custom art will be done by the end of April, so i'd imagine once i get everything done, it'll be ready by the summer!

I'll be sure to show some pics when its done :D
